SLG Business Meeting

March 9, 2004

Called to order at 7:40 pm
Attending - Rev. Rob Henderson, Gen Stoyak, Rodney Cox and Jude Howison

Officer Reports

Senior Druid - Rob Henderson - Imbolc was very well attended with 22 people participating. Rob and Gen were dumbfounded by the participation at the Convocation Ritual, there were 50 attending! Ian Corrigan of ADF has proposed an Initiate grade study program to follow the Dedicant Program. Rob plans to hold another Modern Druidry class in April.

Administrator - Jude Howison - The food drive was successful, over 100 # of food was collected by the Brigeog. Our quarterly report was in on time. Bug ID day is our community service project for the quarter.

Scribe - Jude Howison - Minutes should be caught up soon.

Pursewarden - Rod Cox - Gen presented many receipts for materials and supplies relating to Convocation, totally confused Rodney who began to invoke many dieties not of IE cultures.

Chronicler - Gen Stoyak - Gen would like more articles for newsletters.

Public Relations - (none)

Youth Activities Coordinator - (none)

Web Master - Rob Henderson - The web site is relativley up-to-date. Runic Reiki has been added to the site.

Guild Leader Reports

Magicians - Rod Cox - Good attendence.

Healers - Rod Cox - Good attendence.

Warriors - Rod Cox - Good attendence.

Producers - Gen Stoyak (Pro-tem) -- There were 2 craft days before Convocation. Sales at Convocation brought in $53!

Other Agenda Items

1. Fund raising - Cont. discussion as to where we are on these projects.
Car Blessing.......
The car blessing will be held after the Beltain Ritual. There will be amulets for people to place in their cars. Rodney will charge them (the amulets) with Reiki. The cars will then pass between tiki torches as they leave.

2. Planting the Grove's wheat. -- The wheat can be planted at 7 Gen. We can look for an appropriate site after the next Ritual.

3. Call for volunteers for election committee? -- Will put a call for volunteers in the newsletter and over SLG announce.

4. Planning for Lugh Fest? Same as last year? Bigger? Smaller?
Rob will call Gallup Park to reserve a pavillion.

5. Discuss "New and Improved" Pagan community groups.
We will send at least 1 representative to the Federation Meeting.
