SLG Business Meeting
6/10/99 - 7:30 pm

Senior Druid's Report: (Fox)
Not present
Pursewarden's Report: (Rob)
- Presented monthly financial report. Rob will post a copy to SLG-L.
Administrator's Report: (Jacqui)
- Approved letter to be sent to Denise Thomas in reply to the letter
read at the last Business meeting.
- Washtenaw County wants to give non-profit orgs who meet in the county
some resource materials. Jacqui will investigate what these materials
are and get them if useful.
Scribe's Report: (Elizabeth)
- Previous minutes went out on SLG-L. Elizabeth will bring a few paper
copies to future meetings to accomodate people who aren't online.
- Need to discuss how to allow electronic (email) voting in future
elections, would require a change to the bylaws.
- Reminder - Guild Quarterly reports are due by June 30th.
- Future admendments to the bylaws need to go to the membership in the
correct format with the original text in strikeout format the changed
text bracketed for easy identification.

- 53 members, 1 new member.

Youth Activities Coordinator's Report: (Michael)
- Kids participated in the Beltain rite, it went well
- Need someone to cover the last part of the Midsummer rite if any
other kids besides Kami and Michael's attend as they are leaving early.
Grove Ecologist's Report
Currently no officer
Naturalist's Guild Report: (Toad)
- There will be a Botsford cleaning and workday in the coming month.
Individuals will be taking their plant ID field tests.
- Work with the Friends of Traver Creek is going well. They will be
doing temperature readings and site testing near the golf course. They
are getting a copy of the Traver Creek Source Book, a historical and
informational collection concerning the creek. FTC is also participating
in the PROS (Park, Recreation, Open Space) program, so the Grove will be
participating.
Seers' Guild Report: (Jacqui)
- This month was a business meeting. Next month will be "Stress
Management for Seers" by Lisa
Warriors' Guild Report (Jacqui)
- Paintball was smashing fun with all warriors making kills. Jacqui's
workshop has moved to the next meeting.
Magicians' Guild Report: (Rob)
- Rod presented a workshop on Elemental Magic at the last meeting. The
next meeting will be a class on Hermetics by Omega.
- Don is bringing a collection of wands to the next meeting for those
who need them.
Healers' Guild Report: (Rob)
- Rod is presenting a workshop on Elemental Healing Magic as this
months workshop.
Agenda Items:
Kami will begin presenting the Lore Classes starting September, 2nd &
4th Wednesdays, 7:30-9:30. Location hopefully will be Crazy Wisdom Tea
Room. Kami will need kidsitting support for the 4th Weds.
Rob Barton has requested help for the ADF Prison Ministry. Evidently
there are many more requests than can be currently met.
SLG will be co-sponsoring at Samhain a "Blessed Be & Merry
Meet" a public service/party event co-sponsored by Jules (Journal of
Unusual Learning & Esoteric Studies) and Mecca.
LughFestival - Buck volunteered for Membership, Janet will do catering,
Currently there approximately 12 pre-registrations, Projected attendance
is set at 75
