Minutes of the SLG Healers' Guild, March 1st, 1998

Members in attendance: Raven Hecate-Ana Spiritdancer, Rob Henderson, Mama Moon, Don Clayton, Emily Gabriel

Old Business

We discussed making dream pillows as regalia for this year's Lughnasadh festival, including contents, colors of fabric, types of gems to include in the contents, and a day when we could get together to make them.

The Guild Retreat is scheduled for the second weekend of July (11th and 12th), at the farm owned by Rob's parents. We elected to make the retreat open only to Guild members.

New Business

Don Clayton donated a copy of Michigan Flora pt. 1 to the Guild Library.

We discussed setting up a Guild Garden at Rob's parents' farm.

Raven announced that she will be doing a quarterly Guild newsletter.

MOTION: to approve Rob's books for his upcoming Journeyman qualifications (Pam, Don): passed 4-0, 1 abstention (Rob)

Raven noted that Don's CPR certification (presented at the February meeting) was through the Green Cross, and our by-laws specify that only Red Cross certification is acceptable.

MOTION TO AMEND THE GUILD BY-LAWS: That references to certification "by the Red Cross" be replaced with "by the Red Cross or an equivalent organization" (Emily, Pam): passed 5-0

Motion to close the meeting (Rob, Emily): passed 5-0
