As some of you may have noticed, we no longer have a First Circle Group meeting on the events calendar. What we do have, however, is the SLG Study Group. With far-reaching changes occurring in the ADF study program, we will now be working with the new Dedicant Program as well as whatever clergy and other specialized training programs ADF introduces in the months to come.

Since we will be serving the needs both of those interested in the Dedicant Program and in leadership training, we are now studying two different books in the Study Group. For those following the Dedicant Program, we will be reading Isaac Bonewits' Real Magic. By the September meeting we should be up to chapters 3 through 6, but don't worry about being behind if you are interested in joining the discussion. Real Magic is available at Crazy Wisdom and other pagan bookstores, and can be ordered at any large bookstore.

For those interested in training for a leadership role in SLG or ADF, we are currently studying the introductory text Managing for Dummies by Bob Nelson and Peter Economy from IDG Books. This book is available from any larger bookstore and many public libraries.
